New Age Spa Institute has always opened its doors to all interested students wanting to get the best beauty industry education. Now, thanks to a new bill that was passed in the State of Illinois, NASI will be able to enroll more students without discriminating their immigration status.
“As long as a prospective student has a taxpayer identification number, we won’t require a social security number from them when they are applying for a license,” Monika Machej, president and founder of NASI shared. “This is such great news for so many people because before this bill came to life this was all unclear.”
As Chicagoland’s premiere school of Esthetics, Clinical Aesthetics, Clinical Massage Therapy, Nail Technology, and Makeup Artistry, NASI has all programs under one roof. The only internationally CIDESCO accredited school in the state, NASI has been around for 11 years helping people reach their professional dreams.
“With the law in place, this opens the door to the students that at one point didn’t have the hope to be getting a certification,” Machej added. “We are very excited for this to be happening. We are moving in the right direction.”
