Home Sweet Home! We love having the opportunity to showcase our passion for the beauty industry with our students and other licensed professionals, among them our NASI Grads! Our team of educators had the privilege to teach at IECSC 2021 in Rosemont, IL at the Daniel Stephen’s Convention Center. Founder and School Director, Ms Monika, taught “Epigenetics of Inflammation and Skin’s Aging: Cutaneous Skin Disorders – Rosacea, Acne, and Eczema.” Director of Education, Ms Ania, taught “Emerging Evidence in Auto-Immune Skin Disorders” and “Clean Beauty: Facial Treatments with Adaptogens and Non-Confrontational Modalities.” CIDESCO Diplomate and educator, Ms Bianca, taught “From Surviving to Thriving: Marketing to Your Clients Post-Pandemic” and a CIDESCO sponsored class “How to Design a Custom Facial Based on A Strategic Analysis of Skin Types.”

Aside from education, it was a full house of fun, networking, and discovery. Our amazing students and educators explored the latest innovations and modalities at both ABS (America’s Beauty Show) and IECSC, helped IECSC behind-the-scenes, in addition to running the Coterie Fresh ‘N Clear booth, a NASI sponsor.

At New Age Spa Institute, our motto is “The learning never stops.” And we love sharing knowledge with those who have the drive and passion to succeed in the beauty industry. This year at International Esthetics, Cosmetics & Spa Conference, Founder and School Director, Monika Machej taught “Ethno-Esthiology: Treating Skin Discoloration and Skin Problems in Skin of Color” and “Epigenetic Skin Changes in Different Generations and Victorious Outcomes that Address the Needs of Modern Clients.” New Age Spa Institute Director of Education, Anna Goryca Johnson taught “Consulting and Retailing to Your Client in a Virtual World” and “Mind-Body-Skin Connection” which focused on aging gracefully and creating balanced connections between the mind, body, and skin. Every year the International Esthetics, Cosmetics & Spa Conference travels from city to city uniting the most renowned beauty professionals, students, educators, and brands in the Beauty & Spa Industry. At the Las Vegas Convention Center, the New Age Spa Institute presented a variety of advanced education, newest treatments, and upcoming trends. This exciting event gathered hundreds of students to our instructors’ continuing education classes. Founder and School Director, Ms Monika Machej taught “Facial Treatments for Modern Consumers: Working with Clients Post-Injectables.”

Also, this conference was the official introduction of the Coterie Fresh ‘N Clear thermal sonic brush, REVIVE. After 25 plus years of working every day with external and internal skin challenges, our team of beauty experts was determined to develop devices inclusive for all skin types, conditions, ages, genders, and incomes.

Bringing NASI expertise to Florida at the International Esthetics, Cosmetics & Spa Conference was a blast of excitement and quality education. The New Age Spa Institute and Coterie Fresh ‘N Clear proved a united front in delivering top-level education and products in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. While President and CIDESCO Diplomate, Ms Monika Machej lead an enlightening advanced topic titled “Lymphatic Drainage and Its Implications in A Skin Care Therapy”, Ms Kasia, also a CIDESCO Diplomate and educator, taught “Understanding Inflammatory Disorders: A Savvy Esthetician’s Workshop to Sensitive Skin.”

In 2019, McCormick Place played host to the Spa And Wellness Show of the International Esthetics Cosmetics & Spa Conference. Another exciting event with our top of the line instructors headlining advanced continuing education classes. Among our presenting educators, Ms Katarzyna Armata lead a cutting-edge class titled “Anti-Aging at Its Best: Human Stem Cells, CBD, and Snail Mucus”, while Ms Pat Brown-Dickinson presented “Culturally Diverse and Digitally Connected Catering Spa Services to Generation Z.” Thousands of exhibitors and hundreds of licensed professionals and students, including NASI current students and graduates, gathered for the opportunity to elevate themselves to a higher tier of learning and networking.

Every year the IECSC  puts on a huge convention in Las Vegas , NV .

Whatever happens in Vegas, leads to realizing opportunities in advancing your skills! Our leading beauty experts teamed up at The International Beauty Show and IESCS to feature valuable knowledge for developing career pathways in the Beauty and Spa Industry. Director of Education, Ms Anna Goryca Johnson trained professionals in the progressive continuing education class, “Modern Medical Spa Technologies.” Our educators love investing their time into teaching advanced classes and expanding their knowledge with additional classes, textbooks, articles, seminars, and webinars to remain the best in the Midwest.

Since 2013 NASI has been a part of this exciting event by having instructors teach Continuing education classes for hundreds of students!

The International Esthetics, Cosmetics & Spa Conference or IECSC is a Spa and Wellness Show that take place in three locations throughout the United States. Professionals from all over the world travel to the shows in either Las Vegas, Fort Lauderdale, or New York to see speaker presentations on the most up-to-date procedures and developments in the industry. They also receive special show discounts from the hundreds of suppliers who have booths at these events.
